Dennis Quaid (born on 04/09/1954 in Houston, Texas, USA) is an actor, musician, dancer master, pilot, philanthropist and one ranked golfer. No degree, each drug, William overcome ourselves to become a star in Hollywood.
Since high school, he studied art at the University of Houston acting. Have not graduated high school, Quaid has dropped out and moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue acting. Initially quite life struggling, but then everything was different since he got the role in Breaking Away in 1979. Then he began to be noticed with the film The Right Stuff (1983).
Quaid and participate in the classic comedy, whether in kind or he presents himself as a talented actor. His career seems to have peaked in the second half of the '80s, with roles to life in Enemy Mine, Innerspace, and Great Balls of Fire.
The early '90s, though tough and bravery, but Quaid has collapsed before the temptation of drugs. Cocaine has made his career plummeted in those years no brakes. After successful detoxification, Quaid continues his career and glamor returned to him in the late 90s.
Apart from acting, Quaid is also a musician and formed a band called Shark. He wrote lyrics for three films that he participated. In addition he has completed the course of flying with a degree in film work.
Quaid is also a ranked golfer. In 2005, Golf Digest magazine put him in the list of the top golfers in Hollywood. He also founded a charity tournament named "Dennis Quaid Charity Weekend", which attracts many celebrities, with the aim of raising money for poor and disabled children.
In 2009, he starred in G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (by director Stephen Sommers) for her role as General Hawk.
