Researchers from the University of Texas (USA) analyzed data collected in the nationwide survey in 2002.

Accordingly, the teachers tend to underestimate the capacity of girls in math than boys, although scores in the examination are equal.

"We found evidence of bias in public attitudes to sex in the field of mathematics," according to Houston Chronicle quoted the expert group on university.
