Paul Frederic Simon (born October 13, 1941) is a singer-songwriter Americans. He gained public attention in 1965 as a member of the group Simon & Garfunkel two, along with longtime friend Art Garfunkel in the artistic world. Simon writes most of the songs for the group includes memorable songs such as The Sound of Silence, The Boxer, Mrs. Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water. In 1970, when at the height of his popularity, the group disbanded and Simon began a successful solo career after that, culminating in the 1986 Graceland album with the trials of African music. The songs of Simon has been the media and critics praise and achieved considerable commercial success in four decades. Time Magazine voted him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2006.
