Prince Rogers Nelson (born June 7, 1958) is an American artist. He works in the music industry as a singer, songwriter and producer for his stage name was Prince along with several other names, including most notably a symbol Theartist can not pronounce. jpg which he used from 1993 to 2000. During this time the singer known as the artist once known as Prince.

Since its debut in 1976, Prince has released hundreds of songs as a solo artist to sing with other singers. He has won seven Grammys, a Golden Globe and an Oscar. He was honored at the Rock and Roll Hall Reputation 2004, the year his first qualify. Music magazine Rolling Stone ranked Prince at # 28 in the list of 100 greatest artists of all time in 2008 [1].
