Barbara Stanwyck (July 16, 1907 - January 20, 1990) is an actress of film and television the United States. She is known for her roles in films brilliant director of the Cecil B. DeMille, Fritz Lang, Billy Wilder and Frank Capra. Stanwyck is also the name of an actor on U.S. television, she had spent three Emmys and a Golden Globe for her role on television. No victory in all four Oscar nominations, she has been awarded honorary Oscar in 1982, she was the actress 3rd American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement Award and in 1987. 1999 American Film Institute voted Barbara Stanwyck in 11th place in the list of the best actresses of Hollywood. Barbara Stanwyck born in 1907 in Brooklyn, New York City born Ruby Katherine Stevens.
